Do You Know How Long You’ll Wait?

Believe me, I’ve been there too. Calling in for support on a product or service and been held up in some sort of automated “Press x for” loop when all you want to do is talk to someone. (Screaming doesn’t help either, especially if it’s one of those voice command systems.) After listening to 5 menus and being put on hold for what seems an eternity, should you hang up and try again? What if you have to wait twice as long the next time? How long will it take to reach someone?

What’s in Your Mug: Drip or Pressed?

We drink a lot of coffee here. In fact, there are no less than 3 drip machines, 2 french presses and a fully-functional espresso machine in our office. Not to mention the local conglomerate coffee shop that we as an office keep in business with multiple daily coffee runs. It’s true. Your website is monitored 24/7 due in some part to the wonderful benefits of coffee. Not to say we are experts or coffee snobs (although a high percentage of our employees are former baristas), but if it deals with coffee we definitely have some opinions.
