Each day, over 400,000 Americans wake up with the unpredictability of multiple sclerosis. Symptoms may be mild, such as numbness in the limbs, or severe, resulting in paralysis or loss of vision. This disease interrupts the flow of information from the brain to the body and stops people from moving. The National MS Society is here to make sure it doesn’t.
This April, Team TierraNet will walk with over 12,000 other individuals in Walk MS 2009 to raise $2.2 million to create a world free of MS. TierraNet’s goal is to raise over $10,000 for this cause. For the past five years, TierraNet has been a top fundraising team in San Diego, and this year we hope to top the $10,180 we raised for 2008.
