Tweeting isn’t just for birds

TierraNet Tweets

Sure, we’re a web hosting and domain registration company. Our Network Operations Center holds millions of GB, storing information from corporate business websites to e-commerce storefronts, to family photo albums to personal blogs. We rely on the power of our servers to pull up your website when accessed online. We rely on these servers to make sure your email messages are sent and received.

Our team of 30 employees work hard to ensure your services function properly on a daily basis. So, what about these 30 people? Who are we and what do we do on a daily basis here in the office? If you care to know, which I’m sure you do, follow us on Twitter!

What is Twitter?

Twitter is a free social messaging utility for staying connected in real-time with status updates called Tweets. Add friends and “follow” them to receive their status updates.

TierraNet recently joined Twitter to maximize our “human-ness”, bringing our potential, new and current customers to the office, sharing our day-to-day fun (oh yeah, and work) with everyone. Tweeting is a fantastic way to communicate on a personal level with TierraNet friends and followers.

A few reasons to follow TierraNet on Twitter

We’ll let you know about new releases of services or specials that you may not be aware of (Domain transfers and web hosting information).

Be part of the wacky fun office adventures (”Jeremy ate a whole jar of olives and drank the juice for $5!”).

Hear us brag about our lovely San Diego weather. Hear our confusion when it rains (”What is this wet stuff falling from the sky?”)

…and so much more!

If you use Twitter, be sure to add TierraNet. And, if you don’t have Twitter, what are you waiting for?
